About PartyDex

Your Pokémon party builder for every main-series game.

PartyDex is a free, mobile-friendly reference tool built for players mid-playthrough. Select your game — from Pokémon Red all the way to Scarlet and Violet — add up to six Pokémon to your party, and instantly get every piece of data you need scoped to that exact version. No sign-up. No install required.

How it works

1. 1

   Pick your game

   Choose from 30+ main-series titles, Gen I through Gen IX. PartyDex uses your selection to filter all data — moves, encounters, and evolutions — to that version.

2. 2

   Build your party

   Search for any of the 1,025+ Pokémon by name. Add up to six to your party, set their current levels, and manage them in the sidebar.

   Get instant data

   Select a party member and browse five tabs: Moves, Evolution, Type Chart, Stats, and Find It. Everything updates instantly when you change the level or switch games.

What you get for every Pokémon

• Level-up moves by game

  See exactly which moves your Pokémon learns and at what level — filtered to your chosen game version. Upcoming moves appear first so you know what's coming next.

• Full evolution chains

  View the complete evolution line with sprites, names, and level triggers. Your current stage is highlighted so you always know where you stand.

• Type effectiveness chart

  A defensive type chart for each Pokémon in your party: 4×, 2×, ½×, ¼×, and immune — color-coded and instant. No more mental arithmetic mid-battle.

• Base stats

  Horizontal bar charts for all six base stats (HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed) with color thresholds so you can read relative strengths at a glance.

• Encounter locations

  Find where to catch every Pokémon in your current game — area names, encounter methods, and max encounter rates. If a Pokémon is trade-only, that's flagged too.

Game coverage

PartyDex covers all 30+ main-series Pokémon games, scoping move availability and encounter data to whichever version you're playing.

Free and private

PartyDex is completely free. All Pokémon data comes from PokéAPI — an open, community-maintained database.

Your party and preferences are saved locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Share your party

Tap the share icon in the top bar to copy a link to your current party. Anyone who opens the link sees the same team — the Pokémon, their levels, and your chosen game — without needing an account. The party state lives entirely in the URL.
